Portola Valley has a good balance of modern developments with an old town feel. Opened in 2008, the town’s center provides all the amenities of a bigger city (i.e. a library, community hall, recreational fields, Town Hall, and a variety of classes offered to all ages) but was built to blend into the natural landscape.
