James Harrison, RCE, CAE

President and Chief Executive Officer

James Harrison is a nationally-recognized leader of one of the largest Multiple Listing Services (MLS) in Northern California. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, MLSListings Inc. serves nearly 16,000 subscribers, representing some 6,000 real estate firms, conducting business in more than 28,000 square miles of premiere California counties.

James is a 30-year real estate industry veteran with vast REALTOR® association and regional MLS management experience in the states of California, Texas, and Virginia.

Currently serving on the Advisory Board for Realtors Property Resource® (RPR), James is also on the MLS Executive Advisory Board to the National Association of REALTORS Leadership Team, the Executive Advisory Committee for, the NAR Corporate Ally Program Advisory Board, and the Silicon Valley Alliance of Chief Executives. He also serves as the CAP Advisory Board liaison to the NAR Association Executive Committee. Most recently, James signed on to the Board of Directors for Arizona Regional MLS (ARMLS), one of the largest MLSs in the country.

James holds a degree in Business Administration from Sul Ross State University in Texas. He also holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives and a REALTOR Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation from NAR.

James has been named as one of the 200 Most Powerful People in Real Estate in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, and 2014 in the Swanepoel Power 200 Report. In addition, he is recognized as an Inman Real Estate Influencer in 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, and 2008.

Dave Wetzel

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer

As MLSListings’ Chief Operations Officer, David Wetzel is the day-to-day partner to MLSListings’ visionary CEO. David is responsible for overseeing the functional, service, and technology groups to ensure they are working cohesively to execute the company’s aggressive strategic plan.

David is a veteran Silicon Valley software and technology executive. Prior to joining the MLSListings leadership team, David made his mark with companies such as IBM, Siemens, and Cisco Systems, in positions spanning Product Management, Marketing, Software Architecture, and Software Development.

David began his career in software development, quickly expanding to managing large engineering teams across three different countries. Leveraging the increased exposure to customers and their business plans, he then moved into technical marketing, where he made great strides in helping sales teams close business faster. During his tenure at Cisco, David held many senior roles, including managing Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, and Product Management teams. In one of his positions, he was responsible for implementing the Cloud architecture and software that was used to deliver Cisco services to customers globally.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and a Masters in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University. Most recently, David added the prestigious CMLX3 (Certified Multiple Listings Expert) designation, which is the most comprehensive MLS industry leadership program ever offered and is reserved for those ready to make a lasting contribution to the marketplace.

Brad Goodshaw

Chief Financial Officer

Brad Goodshaw brings more than 20 years of executive and financial management experience to his role as MLSListings’ Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He is charged with all of MLSListings’ financial strategy, accounting, and treasury activities. 

Over the course of his notable career, Brad has worked in a variety of industries including Real Estate, Technology, Manufacturing, and Consumer Products in both the public and private sectors. His leadership experience ranges from Big 4 accounting firms to rapidly growing start-up companies. Brad has held senior financial positions with GoGrid, General Chemical,, Informative, Navisite/Clearblue Technologies, BRE Properties/VelocityHSI, Attack Systems Real Estate Services and Arthur Andersen. He has worked with recurring revenue business models his entire career, most often in the technology and software industries.  

Brad’s Real Estate technology experience began at his first position out of Public Accounting at Attack Systems Inc., a lease tracking software organization for both corporate Real Estate companies and individual corporate entities. They built one of the very first software-as-a-service (SAAS) models and were also early adopters of SOP 97-2 Software Revenue Recognition.  

One of Brad’s strengths includes working collaboratively with an organization’s management team to address challenges and maximize opportunities that arise in a fast-paced business arena. His leadership philosophy is to help build the foundation for companies as they change rather than just manage to the status quo.

Brad has fruitful history of collaborating with other MLS finance executives to create and run MLS councils and section groups that identify emerging trends within the MLS and real estate industries, while discovering and developing best practices.  

Brad holds Bachelors’ of Arts degrees in both Economics and Psychology from UC Davis. He also completed intermediate and advanced Accounting coursework at the University of San Francisco.

Leann Connell

Vice President of Human Resources

Leann Connell is the Vice President of Human Resources for MLSListings. Leann brings more than two decades of credentialed experience in the areas of U.S. and International benefits plans, compensation plan development, employee relations, merger and acquisition integration, compliance and training to MLSListings.

During her career, Leann has implemented new salary structures, state of the art payroll software integrations, and developed HR policies and procedures for Compass Components, a systems, designs and engineering service company, a partner to the Fortune 500.

Leann has also served as the Director of HR for an international start up leading employee policy and compliance efforts. She has designed training programs to support and enhance staff professional development, and is an experienced guide in leading organizational cultural change and employee engagement. Leann has authored and launched policies and training for employee compliance in Harassment and Workplace Violence mitigation.

Leann handled all worldwide contractor compliance, sourcing, recruiting and on-boarding for Chordiant Software company. She has also built training programs in the technology, county government and the healthcare fields.

Leann most recently served as the head of HR for MDC, a world leader in Vacuum and Ceramic Seal Solutions and leading manufacturer of engineered process solutions in HV & UHV Vacuum, ceramic-to-metal bonding and gas delivery. While at MDC, Leann was responsible for all HR functions for three U.S. sites and an international site in England. She also developed a corporate succession plan, created their SOP for HRIS systems and built their compensation plan.

An experienced HR team leader and investigator, Leann is also Myers Briggs Certified.

Leann holds a B.S. in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University

She is also certified Senior Professional Human Resources, a Senior Certified Professional, Society of Human Resources Management and a Certified Executive Coach.

Aaron Hyde

Vice President of Product Management

Aaron Hyde is the Vice President of Product Management for MLSListings. Aaron leads the product management team in the development, service, maintenance, and review of real estate technology products designed to bring MLSListings subscribers leading-edge business support tools. In his role, Aaron blends technology, engineering, and the needs of the user to enhance MLSListings service delivery to brokers and agents.

Aaron is a technology industry leader who has helped to bridge the divide between engineering, product development, and marketing strategies for some of Silicon Valley’s signature companies. Over the course of his 25-year career, Aaron has served in leadership roles for companies such as Adobe, HP, Ricoh, AMD, Motorola, Apple, and many others. His expertise covers a vast area of disciplines with software applications, operating systems, technology platforms, Internet applications/services, digital media applications, and mobile devices/applications/security.

Aaron’s experience includes defining, creating, and launching developer relationship programs and strategies for hardware and mobile platforms. Among his credits, Aaron has helped to establish high-tech and start-up companies with product strategy, definition, and demand generation. He has also conducted market research and competitive analysis for a SaaS-based interactive online video editing, production, analytics, and distribution platform.

Aaron was the founder, lead architect, and engineer for a Web-based content publishing and management application. In addition, he researched and defined program requirements to support building relationships with leading U.S. universities to expand their use of technologies. Aaron is a recognized expert in SaaS, Agile Methodology, market/customer research, platform evangelism, and competitive analysis. He is passionate about understanding market needs and trends in order to fully represent the voice of the customer when defining product requirements and driving development.

Aaron received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also holds certifications in Product Management and Product Marketing Management from Blackblot; Product Management Expertise, Optimal Agile Development from the 280 Group, as well as a certification in Competitive Analysis and Strategic Planning from the American Management Association.

Myra Jolivet

Vice President of Public Affairs

Myra directs the MLSListings Public Strategies and Services group, which includes media and industry relations, digital engagement, customer support, marketing communications, training and outreach programs.

Myra brings to MLSListings more than 25 years of executive-level marketing, public relations and communications experience, and is responsible for the brand and reputation of the MLS, both locally and on a national stage.

Myra’s career in communications began as a television news anchor and reporter, covering local and national news. As one of the first reporters on the scene of the Space Shuttle Challenger tragedy, she filed early reports for CBS News. She later served as a political strategist, spokesperson and advisor to two of Houston’s mayors, as well as in the first Congressional campaign for the Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee.

Myra has represented major corporations and organizations such as Shell Oil, Texaco, the Port of Houston, and the American Red Cross, among others, as spokesperson and communications & media strategist.

In 2004 Myra began working in the real estate industry, for the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) as its Chief Communications Officer. Most recently, she served as the Vice President, Public Affairs for the Pacific West Association of REALTORS®.

Myra has produced multiple Emmy Award-winning specials during her broadcast career. In 2013, she was named one of the ‘100 Most Influential Women in Silicon Valley’ by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Myra has served as a judge of the Emmy Awards and the Golden Mike Awards of Los Angeles.

She holds a bachelor of arts in Radio and Television Broadcasting from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette and has served on the boards of more than a dozen charity and professional organizations, including the American Red Cross, Teach for America, International Association of Business Communicators (Los Angeles and San Francisco chapters) and a member of the Radio Television News Association of Southern California. She is a native of Berkeley, California.

Larry Knapp

Vice President of Industry Relations

Larry Knapp provides strategic leadership for the MLSListings data collaboration and access efforts from the perspective of brokerages and other end-users. His focus is on creating a single set of data for brokers and agents, and a single point of entry – an old conversation with new relevance.

One of California’s most renowned industry leaders, Larry has managed four of the largest residential brokerage firms in the nation and has served in leadership positions in local, state, and national associations of REALTORS.

Larry has successfully orchestrated the merger of more than a dozen large and mid-sized brokerage firms to existing Coldwell Banker operations over a three-year period in an incredibly chaotic environment. He is the former President of Coldwell Banker Northern California, and former Senior Vice President of the Western Region for the new parent company, NRT, Inc.

In addition, Larry helped direct the acquisition and merger of many of California’s most successful real estate companies, including Fox & Carskadon, Del Monte Properties, Contempo Real Estate, Seville Properties, Cornish and Carey, Prudential Jon Douglas and Fred Sands. In that role, Larry managed residential real estate companies with $60 billion in sales volume, and $1.2 billion in revenues in California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.

Furthermore, Larry stabilized Lyon Real Estate during a time of deteriorating public confidence, bringing in a new leadership team and laying the foundation for future success within 15 months. And as President of Alain Pinel REALTORS from 2003 – 2009, he expanded the footprint of that firm during a difficult economic period. 

In 2007 and 2008, Larry served as founding Chairman of the newly-created MLSListings Board of Directors.
