Born & Raised in Scotts Valley

Matt Draper was born and raised in Scotts Valley. Having attended the long-standing Vine Hill Elementary & Scotts Valley Middle Schools, he’s a true Scotts Valley local. His parents’ involvement in the community and careers as realtors shaped Matt’s appreciation for Scotts Valley. It was this upbringing that cultivated a deep-rooted value of connection and community. 

Education & Early Career in Finance

Matt received his bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, SLO in business finance & appraisal.  He went on to work in lending and finance management for a Bay Area startup. In the early 2000s Matt left his career to join the family real estate business where he excels, unsurprisingly, in the financial aspects of real estate.
