Median Prices Reminiscent of California’s Pre-Bust Housing Bubble of 2005

Market statistics from MLSListings Inc give a closer view of the median price of the combined single family and condo/townhomes for San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito Counties. San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties have weathered the downturn very well, and Santa Clara County pricing remains higher than any time since 2004. There is some softening in Monterey and San Mateo counties in December compared to the same time last year.



Combined Single Family and condo/townhome Inventory and new listings remain very low when compared to levels in 2008.
